At La Maltière, we craft lightweight aluminum boats with a flat-bottomed hull, perfect for fishing or leisure. We handle everything in-house—cutting, assembling, and shaping each dinghy in our workshops, then welding them with precision using high-quality aluminum.

Here’s the breakdown of what makes our aluminum boats stand out:

First, we use high-strength silicone seals to ensure durability. Second, each sheet of our tender boats is 2 mm thick, reinforced for extra protection. Third, the side panels are 1.5 mm with added ribs for stability. Fourth, we’ve included a 2 mm transom to support the engine, making it rock-solid.

Fifth, every aluminum boat comes with a central box that acts as a buoyancy reserve. Sixth, as an exception, our Dinghy 2700 model doesn’t include a drain plug. And finally, the load capacity of a La Maltière boat is rated for a 10 cm draft.

On top of that, every La Maltière boat comes with a secure trunk featuring heavy-duty locks. The seats are covered with marine-grade poly-wood, and we use aluminum pulleys and cleats to keep the weight down.

You’ll also notice alveoli around our tender boats—perfect for attaching noodles. The oars are made of wood with brass socks for durability, while the rowlock supports are crafted in bronze. Plus, our boat hinges are made of aluminum for added strength.

Each boat also includes a drain plug and a reinforced transom for mounting a motor if you choose to add one. However, the 2700 model is the exception and does not have a drain plug.
